Hampton Court Palace Food Festival 2026

The Hampton Court Palace Food Festival returns to the palace gardens from Saturday 29 to Monday 31 August 2026, the August bank holiday weekend. The festival runs 10:00–18:00 each day in the Great Fountain Garden at Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey, Surrey, KT8 9AU. The Great Fountain Garden and food festival stay open until 18:00, while the palace buildings close at 17:30.

New for 2026: the Regina Kitchen

The Regina Kitchen is a new live demonstration stage with drop-in cooking sessions throughout the weekend, hosted by Marcus Bean with guest chefs Chris Baber, Shivi Ramoutar, Crystelle Pereira and Cyrus Todiwala.

Food and Drink

Over 150 independent food and drink brands trade at the festival, with street food from Ethiopia, Lebanon, Mexico, China and Sri Lanka alongside classic British fish and chips. Named exhibitors include Crumpy's Smoke Shack, Horsebox Catering, Scandilicious and BEYroots. Pop-up bars serve craft beer, wine and prosecco, and artisan producers sell small-batch food and drink gifts.

Family Fun

Family activities include face painting, a silent disco, "Get Messy" arts and crafts, traditional fete games and live music. Bring a picnic blanket — it is a relaxed family day out in the palace gardens.

Tickets and Prices

Entry to the food festival is included in palace admission, and a food festival ticket also gives access to the historic palace and gardens. Members go free but must pre-book. Official group gate prices per group member are £22.60 adult, £11.30 child and £18.10 concessions (disabled visitors and full-time students over 16). Individual gate pricing varies by advance or gate purchase, so check the official site.

A VIP upgrade costs £50 per person and includes an exclusive VIP tent, goody bag, soft drinks, complimentary pastries and beer, wine or prosecco from 12:00 to 17:00; a valid admission ticket or membership is also required. Under-18s cannot add VIP on Saturday or Sunday, and child VIP catering tickets are available on Monday only at £10 for ages 5 and over.
